Q:: How do I extract my QuickTime file from the ".zip" folder that I downloaded?
  A:

Follow the below instructions according to what kind of computer you have.

MAC USERS:
You can try to double click on the zipped folder and it should automatically extract the file for you.  We recommend creating a new folder on your desktop and dragging the zip folder into it than double click on the “.zip” folder  and it will extract into the folder.  This is so that you make sure you know where you extracted your file to.

If this does not work you can download a program called “StuffIt” this is a program will  allow you to extract the file from the zip folder.

You can download StuffIt for free from the below link:

Check to see what browser you are using.  If you are using Safari than this could be the problem, Safari has a built in self-extracting program which does not always work when unzipping folder from the web.  We recomend you using FireFox for your browser and using StuffIt to extract the files.

You can download FireFox from the below link.

PC USERS:

Right click on the “.zip” folder, chose “extract all”.  We recommend creating a new folder on your desktop and dragging the zip folder, than right click on the “.zip” folder  and extract files here.

If you do not have a QuickTime player installed on your computer right click on the “.mov” file and choose a program a program to watch the movie in (i.e. windows movie player.)

Or you can download iTunes for which will install a QuickTime player on your computer which will allow you to view the movie file.
